Our Yarn Bases
At Passion Yarns, we’re proud to offer unique, hand-dyed yarns. They are made from special fibers that are perfect for all kinds of knitting or crocheting projects. Our yarns are a mix of natural materials from sheep, yak, goats, and rabbits. These blends make them really soft and comfortable. Added silk and nylon give flexibility and toughness to the yarn blends. This means that the things you make with our yarn will keep looking beautiful over time, even after a lot of use.
Our fibers are dyed in small batches which can make colors look a bit different each time. Because the colors are unique and can change, it’s a good idea to buy enough at one time. This way, everything you are working on will match perfectly.
We try really hard to take pictures of our yarns that show their real colors. But we know that sometimes the colors might look different to you because of your computer screen or the light when you see them. Even though we do our best to show you what the yarn looks like, the color might be a little different when you get it.

Beloved
Our Beloved yarn blend combines 75% Superwash merino and 25% nylon, offering skin-friendly softness for accessories like scarves and shawls, while also providing durability for long-lasting socks. The 4-ply, sock-weight yarn comes in a 100-gram skein with 463 yards, ensuring plenty of material for larger projects. It is available in various weights, including sock weight, Mini skeins sock weight, and, DK weight.
*Self-striping yarns are a combination of 4 colors in equal stripes when used to knit socks.

Suggested gauge: 0-2 (2-2.75mm) needles, 7-8 stitches per inch for all sock weight yarns

Tweed
Tweedy Love yarn, inspired by Irish Tweed, is built on a neutral base with textural appeal. It is composed of 85% Superwash Merino and 15% Donegal Nep, which is dye-resistant. Recommended for use with very small needles, it offers a tight gauge of 7-8 stitches per inch. The yarn is 2ply and provides 438 yards per 100 grams.

Mohair
This yarn is a lightweight blend of soft Kid Mohair and shiny Mulberry Silk, ideal for creating airy shawls or combined with other yarns for a soft halo effect. Baby Silk 4-ply yarn is a luxurious mix of Baby Alpaca and Mulberry Silk, offering 437 yards (400 meters) per 100-gram skein.
