We had the best ever September and October with our first in-person fiber events in almost 2 years. What a joy it was to be with like minded people who were equally excited. Our first show was in Yellow Springs, Ohio at Young’s Dairy. What fun it was to be in the country with other fiber artists enjoying the last of the summer weather (can you say HOT?!!) and sharing our wares. How we have missed the smiles on the faces of shoppers and the very ego stroking comments about the colors of our yarns and the set of our booth. Truth be told, none of it would happen without my long-suffering husband Dale, who happily loads and totes and builds for each show.
Aren’t the “walls of color” just beautiful?
Next was the show in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the Fall Fiber Expo. We had our largest setup ever and it lead to much discussion on how to set the walls for maximum traffic flow but I think we did a good job. This show is inside a building meaning much more comfortable and safer for our stock. So now we will prepare for the new year optimistically expecting the normal shows will continue.
The lighting made all the difference and we were so pleased with this setup.
Till next time!!
